In medicine, there is actually some controversy about whether the G-spot exists.
But it doesn’t matter.
Because whether from my girlfriend Lisa and I’s practice or from interviews with our friends, the conclusion is: the G-spot is indeed a sensitive area in the female vagina, and stimulating it will bring great pleasure and strong orgasm.
“For us women, if sex is a piece of cream cake, then the G-spot is the cherry on the cake, occupying the highest point of taste,” Lisa added.
Quick Review
The G-spot isn’t a new discovery. German gynecologist Ernst Grafenberg (hence the “G”) first noticed it in the 1940s.
The “magic button” became popular in 1982 with the publication of sex researcher Beverly Whipple’s bestselling book, Der G-Punkt: Other Discoveries About Human Sexuality.
01. Where is the G-spot?
The G-spot is located about 5-7.5 cm inside the front wall of the vagina (the side close to the abdomen). When you touch the G-spot, you will find that it feels different from other places. It feels a bit like the roof of your mouth, but softer and has a slight indentation.
Find the G-spot with your fingers: Just slide your palm toward your abdomen and slide it all the way to your private parts. Then use 1 to 2 fingers to enter it, bending your fingers back 5-7.5 cm deep. Similar to the picture below:
Can’t find it?
Lisa discovered through her bestie that the main reason many sisters can’t find the G-spot is that they don’t fully arouse it.
“If you’re not fully aroused, it will be difficult for you to find the G-spot and get pleasure from it,” Lisa added.
Zum Beispiel, if your gynecologist happens to press on your G-spot area during an exam, you probably won’t feel anything. But when you’re in the mood, massaging your G-spot can be incredibly pleasurable.
This is actually true, and has even been reported in scientific journals, citing the Elsevier dictionary:
“The G-spot is not usually felt during a gynecological exam because the area must be sexually stimulated to swell and become palpable; and of course, doctors don’t sexually arouse their patients, so a woman’s G-spot is not usually found.”
Still can’t find it?
Maybe you’ve followed my advice above, but still can’t find your G-spot.
This isn’t your problem, here are the possible reasons:
There’s an area above the G-spot called the urethral sponge. The urethral sponge contains a gland called the Skene’s gland, which becomes engorged with blood and becomes sensitive and prominent when you’re aroused.
But the size of the Skene’s gland varies from person to person. If your Skene’s gland is tiny, your G-spot will never become that sensitive or prominent, and it will be difficult to achieve a G-spot orgasm.
02. Found it, what now?
First, let’s review the technique of locating the G-spot:
- Ensure excitement: Ensure a state of sexual arousal;
- Find it: 5cm-7.5cm on one side near the lower abdomen/navel;
- Move: Use your fingers to gently make a “come here” motion, remember the soft folds, that is the G-spot.
If you have followed my advice and learned how to find the G-spot, then it’s time to start enjoying it! Here are some of the best techniques for massaging the G-spot:
Finger G-spot pleasure technique
While massaging the G-spot with one hand, you can stimulate the clitoris with the other hand, as shown below. Perfect for doubling your pleasure:

Best G-spot Positions
The upward bend helps hit the G-spot. Here are some great G-spot positions.
- Bedside
A great position for orgasms. Perfect for hitting the G-spot, and your partner can easily stimulate the clitoris with their hands or a pleasure toy.
- Cowgirl
Women can lean back and place their hands on their partner’s legs. This angle allows for a natural way to hit the G-spot. And it also leaves your hands free for pleasure toys!
- Bridge
One of the best G-spot positions! Kneel between the girl’s legs, then grab her hips and pull her over his legs. With her hips raised, this is the perfect angle for the G-spot, and it’s sensual the whole time!
03. But I want to pee
You may feel like “I want to pee” when you stimulate the G-spot, which is normal.
According to statistics, about 60% of American women have had the urge to urinate during sex.
The reason for this feeling is that the bladder is located next to the G-spot. Take a closer look at the illustration above to understand what I am talking about.
So when the G-spot is touched, the bladder will also be under a certain amount of pressure. So if you don’t want to have this feeling, the most effective way is to pee beforehand.
In addition, this may also be a “precursor” of squirting. The liquid that is sprayed is not urine, but comes from the Skene glands. But because it shares the same “exit” with urine, if it happens to spray when rubbing the G-spot, you may feel like you are peeing. As for the topic of squirting, we will talk about it in detail next time.
